DAY 12-AT SEA

 Our position at noon today.  Passing by Puerto Vallarta on our way to Cabo San Lucas.  It it mostly cloudy today, temperature of 80 degrees, and strong 25 knot wind out of the north.  Not as smooth today due to the wind.

YESTERDAY EVENING:
       Not long after sailing from Acapulco, I was sitting out on our balcony when I saw a school of probably 50 dolphins playing and following our ship.  It was if they were putting on a show that lasted for nearly 15 minutes.  I grabbed my camera and tried to take some photos of them.  Here are the best ones below.  Appropriately, we both had mahi mahi later for dinner.  LOL

 We both had cajun spiced mahi mahi last night.  It was fresh as just came aboard.

 We also had the pasta of the day, farfalle pasta with cured pancetta, chili flakes, and marinara sauce.

 For dessert I had the chocolate profiteroles with bourbon vanilla ice cream & chocolate sauce.

This is the fetit fours that is served every evening.  We call it "the Christmas tree".  Rebecca usually will have one of these little treats.

WHAT WE DID TODAY:

  The pastry chef made this cake.  It is map of our world cruise.   He left Bermuda out.

       There was a time change last night so moved clocks back again one hour.  We are now on Mountain Time.  After our room service breakfast we both hit the fitness center to do our workouts. After showering we headed out to get a bite of lunch.  There is a BBQ ribs buffet up at pool deck grill.  Their ribs are always excellent with meat falling of the bone tender.  Since we will be dining in Prime 7 Steakhouse this evening, we decided to go to Compass Rose restaurant for Caesar salads. The La Veranda buffet is just too tempting.  We were joined for lunch by Melody & David Hermann from Orlando.
       Susanne will be joining us this evening for cocktails and dinner in Prime 7.  The menu for Prime 7 is below.  There is a production show after dinner but we just do not care for the cast so will find something else to do.
