DAY 84-ARABIAN SEA

Our position at noon today.  We're enroute to Dubai.  We'll be at sea again tomorrow however.  Nice sunny day with temperature of 85 degrees.  We have been blessed with smooth sailing for the whole month of March.

WHAT WE DID TODAY:
Today is our 33rd anniversary.  Normally they put names of people celebrating birthdays and anniversaries up on channel 1 on tv.  Ours was not on it today.  Apparently they put it on tv late in the morning but we did not see it.
Our dear friend, Susanne Peters, gave us this VERY nice bottle of champagne for us to enjoy on our anniversary.  She is such a sweetheart.  We plan on taking it with us up to Prime 7 this evening to enjoy before dinner.  I am also taking a merlot/malbec bottle of wine I bought during a wine tour back in New Zealand.  Tonight is formal optional dress night so of course I will be wearing my dinner jacket and Rebecca in her red St John dress.  Check photo out tomorrow.  So they are having beef Wellington on the menu down in Compass Rose tonight.  It is one of our favorites!!  Normally they do not allow Compass Rose food to be served up in Prime 7 but at lunch I asked Douglas, manager of all the dining venues on board, if it might be possible.  He said, "Absolutely, since it is a special day for you".  There is no better Restaurant Manager than Douglas Mackenzie.  He could have said no and I would still love him.  Last night I also requested the pastry chef make us a carrot cake with cream cheese icing for tonight.  So we're all set.
At 5:30 this evening our door bell rang and it was one of our favorite assistant waiters, Cho, (from Myanmar) delivering these two glasses of champagne compliments of Davor, our General Manager, the Officers, Staff, and Crew of Navigator.  Nice touch!!
Tonight we set our clocks back 90 minutes again so we will be on Dubai time.  More sleep time tonight!!  Another day at sea tomorrow.
