WHAT WE DID TODAY: NEW PHOTO LINK BELOW
I was having more pain in my right arm the past couple of days as the day went on so decided to go see the doctor this morning. I was afraid there may be some torn muscles or tendons that may need further attention before we get home mid May. He thinks I just have some pulled muscles after examining me. Only way to tell for sure about tear damage is an MRI and would have to go off ship to a hospital for that. He put me on 5 days of a drug stronger than ibuprofen and also gave me a tube of ointment of same drug to apply 4 times daily. So we'll see if this works. Hope so! BIG problem is the doctor says I cannot drink alcohol when taking this drug. Guess I will live.
So this is day 2 in Colombo. No tours today but we did go off the ship to do some shopping on the pier. It was SO hot (over 90 degrees) and the sun was beating down. We did buy 3 t-shirts for $5 each. After that we did our workout before lunch. Protein bar for Rebecca and hamburger for me.
We are sailing at 2:00 pm for our next port, Cochin, India. We will be arriving there at 9:00 am tomorrow. I have an 8 hour tour scheduled to depart at 9:15. Rebecca is staying on the ship. She is probably the smart one!
Here is the link to the photos I took in Colombo yesterday and today. You will have to "cut & paste" the link to a "new tab" on your browser. When album opens just click on first photo and you will be able to read my captions. The use arrow on right side (middle) of photo to page through the rest of album. My captions will describe what I saw and did so am not writing description in the text here.

This afternoon after sailing I will start my new book from the library, "Killing Patton" by Bill O'Reilly. This evening there is a Seven Seas Society cocktail party which we will not be going to. Dinner will be in Compass Rose as there is miso sea bass on tonight's menu. Yummy!! Also want to go hear tonight's headliner entertainer, Mark Preston. We really enjoyed his first show.
