DAY 68-CROSSING EQUATOR TODAY

Our position at noon today is still cruising in the Java Sea.  This sea is not very deep, only 100 to 120 feet deep yesterday and today during noon PA.  Very smooth again last night and today.  Mirror-like water this afternoon.  We have never experienced waters this smooth for so many days in a row.  Has been calm since March 1st.  84 degrees outside today with 80% humidity but not too bad with the breeze.  Singapore, here we come!

Another day at sea and will be crossing the Equator again this afternoon around 5:30 pm.  Just as when we crossed the Equator heading south, King Neptune and his court will be aboard for a ceremony to honor those passengers who boarded in Auckland that will be crossing the Equator for the first time.  It is at 6:00 pm and we have Prime 7 reservations so will not be taking photos of it. Here is the photo link to first crossing when heading south as a review.

We both got our workout in this morning.  I spent 30 minutes walking up on deck, then 30 minutes in gym on stationary bike.  We both went up on pool deck at noon as there was a special seafood buffet for lunch.  After I get this post published I plan to sit out on the balcony and start reading Bill O'Reilly's book, "Killing the Rising Sun".  Rebecca is doing her nails this afternoon.  She does her own so saves us lots of money!!

As I said this evening after cocktails we have reservations in Prime 7 for dinner.  Time for another good steak.  Susanne will be joining us.
So tomorrow we will be docking in Singapore at 7:00 am.  This is the end of our 3rd segment and about 140 people will be disembarking and new passengers will be coming on board in the afternoon. I believe there will be a rather large crew change also.  We have a morning tour.
