Our position at noon today. We are transiting the Prince Wales Channel of the Torres Strait across the northeast corner of Australia. New Guinea is just about 150 miles north of us. This afternoon we will be entering the Arafura Sea and leaving the Coral Sea. I hope it will remain smooth sailing there as we will be in the open waters again heading towards Darwin, our next port of call. It is 85 degrees with 80% humidity today at noon.
I think I will let my photos and their captions describe what we did last night and today. Here is the link to them. My sister emailed me to say there was a problem with my Cairns photo link. That has been corrected. This afternoon was the "Country Fair" up on the pool deck. There will be photos of it too. The different departments on the ship set up game booths for the passengers to play. I am pretty sure the crew members have more fun than we do.

This evening we will be having cocktails and dinner with John & Hee Ann Fitzgerald and Charlie & Joan Davis. We cruised with them in 2010 on our first world cruise. We will also be going to the show after dinner. Bayne Bacon will be featured in his second show. Loved his first show. Tomorrow is another day at sea.
