Our position at noon today. Technically in Indian Ocean but southern part of Bay of Bengal. It is 86 degrees with 75% humidity and a 15 knot wind. We are getting a pretty smooth ride ever since we departed Thailand.
WHAT WE DID TODAY:
Same morning routine as usual. Clocks went back 1 1/2 hour last night so we are now on Indian time. Yes, they are 30 minutes off everyone else. So we are 10 1/2 hours ahead of US central time.
The good news is I fixed the slow upload of photos onto blog. I simply did a restart of my laptop and that fixed it. Amazing what "reboots" can fix.
This afternoon we will be reading our books. Rebecca is reading "Sting" by Sandra Brown and I am reading "Killing the Rising Sun" by Bill O'Reilly. I'm finding his book very interesting. I also had to so some research and writing about our next port, Colombo in Sri Lanka. We were originally not scheduled to stop there but it was added after they cancelled our 4 days in Burma. We will be in Colombo over night now but we still have another sea day tomorrow before arriving.
Well, after looking at tonight's menu we decided to ask the chef to make us some veal parmesan with spaghetti for our dinner. We want to go to the show tonight as it is featuring the headliner entertainer, Mark Preston. Mark sang with The Letterman on two occasions for a total of 11 years. He has also performed in Las Vegas and world wide. I think this will be a fantastic show.
Here is the link to some photos of us last night (formal night) and some from today.
