DAY 54-AT SEA

       Our position at noon today as we make our way up the east coast of Australia towards Brisbane.  It is a lovely day at sea with mostly sunny skies and a very pleasant 73 degrees.  We are cruising just 18 miles off the coast line.  All morning it has appeared they were getting lots of rain on land.  This afternoon it appears to be improving.
       This morning we made some phone calls to check up on family and friends.  Then we enjoyed a nice workout.  I did part of mine out walking around the upper deck.  It was so nice outside today and I plan on enjoying some time out on our balcony this afternoon.
       We are now watching President Trump's address to Congress.  It started at noon here.  I love what he has to say.  Sorry my liberal friends.  Room service brought me a nice tuna salad sandwich for lunch.  How about that ovation for Navy Seal, Ryan Owens, who was killed defending our country in Yemen a month ago!!!
       I must say it is so nice for the both of us to finally be healthy enough to fully enjoy this wonderful cruise.
       Tonight's Compass Rose menu has three entrees that I really like.  Big decision coming!  Headliner entertainer tonight is Juliette Primrose, a singer.  Will try her show again tonight but last time I walked out because the band was covering her up.  I just want to hear the performers.  Is that too much to ask???  I have discussed this issue early on in cruise with our cruise director.  I was even bold enough to go over to the sound booth before last night's show and told the sound guy this.

       We dined with our friends Melody & David Hermann last night.  Rebecca and I really enjoyed the cajun foods I mentioned in yesterday's post that Chef Michael prepared.  Bravo, Chef Michael!
Well, we did go to the show but I did not stay long.  The magician/comedian was not that good in my humble opinion.  Ok, I also heard others talking about him in coffee connection this morning.
